AJET Farewell Party Reminder

June 23rd, 2008

Hey guys!!!

So, not long now till all those teary eyed farewells begin….This is just a reminder to get your votes coming for the 2008 Ehime AJET Awards which will be announced at the sayonara party on July 12th on Kashima Island.

So far we’ve had about 15/20 responses to the awards. Which is great! But given that there are over 80 JETs in Ehime…actually pretty not so great!

So let’s start being great and SEND ME YOUR VOTES!!! I’ve really enjoyed seeing the variety of votes that have been coming in and it’s nice to see people recognising all the wonderful attributes that our departing JETs have had to share with us during their time in Ehime. There have also been a number of very amusing and original responses to these awards which has been really fun to see. I hope more of you will get your votes coming in and come along to the party to bid a fond farewell to your friends, and see who will be crowned victorious in each of our categories. Pasted below, once again, are names of departing JETs, and awards. Please reply to me with a name by each category for the person you think most deserves the award.

Remember, ALL Ehime JETs can vote in these awards, regardless of whether you’re staying or leaving. Other people on the listserve who aren’t JETs but know JETs who are leaving, feel free to vote too! If you used to be a JET and know people who are leaving this year, send your votes to me!

Thanks guys!!!! Look forward to hearing from you!
