I reach out for my phone and stop short a few inches from the screen.
What if I’m in some kind of horror film where he’ll reach out and grab my wrist? That kind of prank is exactly what Jack would do if he actually came back from the dead and wasn’t a hallucination. But he is a hallucination. He can’t touch me.
It’s impossible.
So of course the bastard grabs as soon as I touch my phone.
